On Friday, March 13th, students who plan to take the AAPPL (apple) test need to meet in the 2nd floor conference room immediately following the announcements.  You must have your Chromebook, headphones with microphone & $20, if you haven't already paid Profe.

Book club will meet tomorrow.

This Year's Spring Play production of "Space Princess Wars" will premiere on the KHS Auditorium stage @ 7:00 P.M. both Friday March 13th and Saturday March 14th.  Tickets are purchased at the door. Adults are $8 and Students are $5. Please come out to support the students of drama club. 

Esports Meeting today during advisory. Money and Registration is due Friday to play in the Spring Major.

There will be a mandatory student council meeting during advisory today

Interested in Nursing?  Methodist College in Peoria will host Shadow Visits during the months of February, March, and April of 2020. The Shadow Visit program provides an opportunity for high school students to observe/participate in an interactive nursing classroom environment. These educational sessions will take place in our Simulation Center at Methodist College (7600 N. Academic Drive, Peoria, IL 61615), with our nursing faculty and nursing students. EMERGING RURAL LEADERS

Thanks to the generous support of the Trott Family Foundation, the University of Chicago is excited to host the Emerging Rural Leaders program. Emerging Rural Leaders offers two summer programs to top freshmen and juniors from rural and small town high schools. Selected students will have the opportunity to participate in a Summer Session course free of charge.

Emerging Rural Leaders I: Freshmen

Dates: July 19 – July 25, 2020

Eligibility: current high school freshmen attending rural and small town high schools* in the United States. Learn more about Emerging Rural Leaders I

Emerging Rural Leaders II: Juniors

Dates: June 20 – July 10, 2020

Eligibility: current high school juniors attending rural and small town high schools* in the United States, Learn more about Emerging Rural Leaders II

Seniors: apply for FREE to Missouri State!  They are on the Common Application or this link:  missouristate.edu/apply

ACT Testing: Here are all the ACT dates, registration deadlines, and score release dates for the current 2019-20 school year. All dates and deadlines have been confirmed by ACT, Inc.  Test dates will be on SATURDAYS  Cost: $52.00 (w/out Writing portion) $68.00 WITH Writing portion. Fee waivers available.  See Mrs. McNeese

SAT Test Info: Tests will be administered on SATURDAYS at 8 a.m.  Closest test locations include CSC, Galesburg HS, and ICC in East Peoria.  Cost: $47.50 without essay exam, $64.50 including the essay exam.  Fee waivers available.
